Overview

We walk west along the South Downs Way from Southease Station/Halt toward the River Ouse, Southease Church  to continue toward Cricketing Bottom and Telscombe Village and Church. From the Church we walk east and then descend back to the River Ouse where we walk north along the riverbank back to the start of the walk.

Please meet Jill on the West side of Southease Station/ Halt and park there. If by chance you take the A26 to get to this Station/Halt it is not possible to drive across the level crossing but one is ample parking and walk across the said level crossing to meet me and other walkers.

Meet Jill on the West side of Southease Station/Halt please. Check train timetables if travelling by train. Travel there by car is to take the Lewes to Newhaven road and turn off at the signs to Southease Village. Proceed through the village, pass the Village Green, on your right and drive over the ridge River Ouse until you see the Station/Halt where you will find room to park your vehicle
