Overview

Ascend St Agnes Beacon for a 360 degree view and return via Chapel Coombe and Towan Cross to Porthtowan. Then via the coast path to Wheal Coates. 10.30am start. Meet at Wheal Coates National Trust car park, SW 703 500 (free for members). A circular walk of 8 miles, 5 hours. Moderate. The Wheal Coates Tearoom is a short distance away at SW 704 504 with roadside parking, home-made cakes, scones and good coffee.
