We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk will start with a wander around Heartwood forest taking in Langley wood and The Magical wood before joining the Hertfordshire Way. Passing Childwick Green and Lady Grove wood then heading over fields for a gentle descent to the Roman site of The Verulamium and St Albans.

The walk starts at the entrance to Heartwood forest
Verulamium Museum car park. This will be the pick up point for the return journey. It is located at the museum at theeastern end of the Verulamium park.
