Overview

From the village of Niton, the route take a loop inland along the Yar Valley Trail to the east, then undulates gently westwards before climbing to the viewing point of St Catherine's Hill with good views along the coast. It then crosses the main road, contours along the coastal path, then drops 450 ft to St Catherine's lighthouse. Finally it climbs back to Niton.
