We are the Ponteland Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts from Stamfordham Village Green then goes to the south on a circular route.
Terrain: Paths, tracks and roads; several stiles, a couple of them a bit tricky. Lots of mud at present and one short section which is very bad, but hopefully will have dried out a little by the time of the walk.
Refreshments: Coffee and lunch stops during the walk. Everyone is invited back to Steve and Lynnes (in the centre of Stamfordham village) afterwards for seasonal refreshments.
Start Point/Parking: Park near to the (still closed) Bay Horse Pub in the centre of Stamfordham village (Grid ref NZ077 721)).
