Stanton Drew

Stanton Drew boasts the third largest stone circle in Britain which we will pass as our walk takes us over fields and footpaths alongside the River Chew to the Viaduct at Pensford.

We then turn to make our way through woodland and meadows with a steep climb up a Byway to a gate and out on to a hilltop field, making our way across to Norton Malreward.

We will then turn for home passing through Norton Hawkfield following country lanes and crossing more fields until we arrive back at the Pub Car Park. 

We can then all have a well deserved drink!
