An invigorating 6 mile walk in the Cotswold countryside around Stanton and Laverton.
Beginning from Stanton, we make a long climb up the escarpment and then walk some way along the top before descending down again, past Laverton, and back to our start point. Lovely countryside and some great views.
Both the ascent and descent are quite long and there are a couple of fairly steep and rocky bits. Walking poles are recommended. Some parts of the walk could also be rather muddy depending on the weather. There are not many stiles. Suitable for well behaved dogs on leads.
Bring refreshments for a snack break.
