The finish time will be flexible depending on how long we stay relaxing in Phil’s lovely garden! This walk starts by following the Three Choirs Way for a short distance down to Hopton Court, then we take a quiet country lane westwards to cross the A465 and head towards Little Cowarne. There we take a small detour uphill to Sandy’s house where elevenses will be provided while we enjoy the view. We then walk through Little Cowarne, passing the pub and the church before heading across fields to The Folly (Phil’s house). We will sit in the lovely garden while we eat our own lunch and relax. This is intended to be a leisurely walk and the finish time will be flexible. The walk from The Folly back to Stoke Lacy village hall will be led at approximately 2.30pm although those who wish are welcome to stay longer, and alternatively it is possible to make your own way back if you wish to leave earlier.
