Overview

The walk starts at the footpath outside the Stonor House ground just opposite the lane parking. We will walk up the hill around the Stonor house grounds before going into some woods to reach the top of the first hill. We will then walk along The Ridgeway with great views of the valley before walking down through some woods and fields to Middle Assendon. There is a small amount of street walking before cutting through the village on our next hill to Bix where we will stop for lunch. After lunch its a fields and woods walk down to St James church ruins where we can have a drink before the final hill up with a walk through fields back to where we started.
