Start 10 am at entrance to Straiton Local Nature Reserve (buses 37, 47, X62). Walk via Straiton Pond and old railway line to Roslin, ending at a cafe. About 4.5 miles, 2.5 hours, negligible ascent. There is 37 bus back to Edinburgh.
