Strolling and Sightseeing around Stamford

Join me for this leisurely walk/stroll around Stamford where I will attempt to highlight interesting sights interspersed with snippets of history.  We will cross the Welland, pass the George, the Bull and Swan and the William Cecil to enter Burghley Park through the Tudor gatehouse.   Coffee/snack stop at Burghley House but note garden cafe will be closed so bring your own.  Meander back through the deer park and cross the Welland into Stamford.  Wander through the historic streets.  We will end up at/in the Stamford Post for drinks and possibly a pudding!   (Yes, it is a Wetherspoons!)
