If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
This walk begins at the Studley Bridge. After briefly following the disused railway path. We'll head up to Studley, before entering the Bowood estate at Derry Hill. We'll then head across to Calne to pick up the canal and railway path again. Please bring your lunch.
The walk is likely to be wet underfoot in places. Suitable footwear is essential.
For those members who are happy to car share, we meet first at the Bath Road car park in Chippenham. (“Pay and Display”). Lifts are suggested at £1.00.
This walk begins at the Studley Bridge on O/S Explorer No 156. Please park thoughtfully.
