A walk to celebrate the summer solstice.
From Wyre Piddle we will follow an easy 7.5 mile circular route going via Upper Moor, then round the lakes by the waste management centre, followed by a gentle climb up to Hill. Here we will stop to enjoy some Pimms and cucumber sandwiches (to be provided), before continuing on and round Lower Moor and then back to our start.
Anyone planning to come, please let Eleanor know by Saturday (17th) lunchtime , so that the appropriate quantities of Pimms and sandwiches can be provisioned.
Pretty easy walking, mostly flat. A little road walking on quiet roads plus one busy road to cross. Slight possibility of meeting some livestock. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads.
Meet by The Anchor Inn, Wyre Piddle, WR10 2HP. Park considerately along the roadside nearby.
