This months 5 miles Sunday Stroll cicular takes us to the Ridgeway, overlooking West Ilsley, Chilton and the Harwell Campus.
Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.
Pace: gentle.
Walk details
We start our afternoon stroll at the Bury Down Car park on the Ridegway with stunning views of the surrounding area. We head east along the Ridgeway before heading north to Chilton where we turn back along the Harwell Campus. We re-join the Ridgeway for the final part of our walk heading east the the car park.

Unfortunately there is no public transport available to this walk. Feel free to use either our Facebook group (members only) or the comments section on the Meetup event page to arrange lifts – there are often members who are happy to help!

The Ridgeway car park at Bury Down is on Bury Lane and can be accessed either from West Ilsley or from the A34. Please note that the postcode covers a wide area and may not take you to the correct location on its own. Parking is available on both sides of the road.
