Start from Town Gate, Sutton Park, Park Road, Sutton Coldfield, B73 6BU.

A pleasant and leisurely walk, just under 8 miles long. There was some easily navigated mud on the recce, and several board walks which may need some care and attention.

Parking is at Town Gate Car Park, just inside the gate itself. Sometimes the car park is busy. If travelling by train (recommended from SW Birmingham), catch the cross city line train which passes through Selly Oak at 9:32 to Sutton Coldfield Station. Town Gate is 2 minutes walk from the station.
