A varied and beautiful walk, taking in water, moors, farmland and woods around Baitings reservoir.
Calderdale can be a wet place on winter walks so waterproof clothing and boots are strongly recommended. Bring a packed lunch and warm drink to enjoy in outstanding scenery and good company.
Free carparking is available.
The nearby town of Ripponden has several pubs and cafes to enjoy a well-earned drink after the walk.
Baitings reservoir carpark. Take the A58 out of Rishworth towards the M62 motorway. The carpark is on the left just as you meet the reservoir.
