TEMPLER WAY CHALLENGE. 07:30am Early start at Totnes Pavilions (SX803608 or PC TQ95XW) for Bob the Bus to Haytor (Fare approx £5). Walk the Templer Way to Teignmouth.
This walking route links Haytor on Dartmoor with Teignmouth on the coast. It is based on a tramway built in the 19th century by George Templer to transport granite from his quarries on Dartmoor to the sea. The full walk is 18 miles but there is an option to finish at Newton Abbot town quay (10.5 miles). Return journeys will be by public transport.
Dogs not permitted, except registered assistance dogs.
