Thorpe, Stanshope and Ilam

We will start our walk from Narlows Lane Car Park. From here we will walk through Lin Dale and Dove Dale passing (but not ascending) Thorpe Cloud and the Dovedale Stepping Stones. We then cross the River Dove and ascend through Hall Dale to Stanshope. 

The return to Thorpe takes us along the River Manifold, Manifold Trail and through Ilam. A section of the Limestone Way brings us back to Thorpe. 

This walk is a mix of terrain, some lovely sections along the river and through fields. Due to stiles and livestock this walk is not suitable for dogs. 

Lunch required.
