Overview

This is a circular walk from London Bridge station , with plenty of interest for lovers of history and our great city. We pass the Monument to the great fire of London which gave Christopher Wren his great opportunity, and look at some of the churches he designed (as well as St Paul's cathedral his masterpiece)and some medieval buildings (including The Guildhall) that survived the fire. Part of the walk goes along the north bank of the river, and through the Inns of Court. There will be a cafe stop about 1/3 of the way, and as we will be going inside some churches the pace will be fairly slow .
