A walk through a lovely part of the Peak District taking in the pretty villages of Thorpe, Mapleton and Tissington. Tissington is renowned for its well dressing . The terrain includes open fields, riverside footpaths and attractive lanes. The route also includes the Tissington Trail, a former railway line which is popular with walkers and completely traffic free. Generally flat with two small hills. No dogs please as there was livestock on the recce. I really hope it won’t still be muddy in May! Lunch required.
