We are the Calderdale Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Exploring the hills and farmland on both sides of the A646, you will tackle some undulating climbs, varied terrain and achieve outstanding views as you reach the summits. Your guide will enrich the walk with interesting local history, and an appreciation of the beauty of this rugged landscape.
The walk will be reasonably brisk so a reasonable level of fitness, good boots and a packed lunch will be needed.
Walk starts in Lobb Mill carpark, beside the A646. If driving from Halifax, CP is on right just before the viaduct as you enter Todmorden. Parking is limited so carshare or public transport is recommended.
