We leave the car park and head towards Tal y Bont before crossing the canal on a foot bridge, we go through a pretty wooded area before reaching open countriside. The ascent up to the Tor y Foel is fairly demanding but we will take it gently! We will stop for coffee about half way up before the push onto the summit. After enjoying the views and plenty of photographs, we will then stop just below the summit to eat our well earned lunch. We then descend rapidy down towards a roadway and immediately turn left into a trrack that takes us through some farm yards before becoming very uneven and rocky. We eventually reach a roadway and turn right before quicly turning left to dsecend down to a footbridge across Afon Crawnon. We rejoin a road and then follow it back down into Llangynidr.
