Overview

Meet point The Old Railway Station Bistro, South Embankment, Dartmouth, from here we will pick up bus number to 93 Kingsbridge which will leave at 09.30am to arrive at Torcross at 10.03am.

From Torcross we follow the SWCP back to Dartmouth taking in Slapton Ley, Slapton Sands, Strete, Blackpool Sands, Stoke Fleming and Dartmouth Castle.

As this is a Saturday Walk, if you are intend to staying over in Torquay, there will be short walk on the Sunday morning 15-6-2025, around the grounds of Cockington estate, approx 7-8 miles, Meet point by the Clock Tower Torquay Harbour 10.00am.

Meet point The Old Railway Station Bistro, South Embankment, Dartmouth, (which never saw a train) Options for parking, Dartmouth has a P&R which is £10 per car, give yourself plenty of time as P&R is a good 30mins walk to town, P&R buses do run around every 15-20mins, All alternatively street parking which is very limited, again this will involve a long walk into town, Car share as much as possible, Another option is bus from Torquay to Paignton Bus No 12 this runs every 20mins From Paignton take the Bus 120 to Kingswear then Ferry across the River Dart to South Embankment, Bus Leaves Paignton Bus Station 08.30 am and arrives at The Banjo Kingswear 08.52am
