A southern Dartmoor walk that visits the tors that surround Burrator Reservoir.
We start at the Norsworthy Bridge car park near the eastern end of the reservoir, with the route then visiting Down Tor, the Down Tor stone row and cairn circle, Combshead Tor, the Yellowmead cairn circles, Sheeps Tor, the ice cream van that is nearly always parked by the reservoir dam, Peek Hill, Sharpitor and Leather Tor, with the optional scramble along Leather Tor's 'mini mountain ridge'.
From here the main walk returns to the car park, making the total distance around 10 miles.
However when this walk was last run a few people then went on to visit Crazy Well Pool, with the option of going for a wild swim, and I propose that we should do this again. This would bring the total distance to around 12.5 miles.
I have graded the walk as strenuous, as there is quite a lot of climbing, but overall I would say that it's somewhere between moderate and strenuous.
