We are the Richmond Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A beautiful riverside walk through parkland and woods, crossing main roads that are served by buses to Hounslow; thus a shorter walk is possible. May be muddy, thick-soled shoes recommended. Lots of local history, and an allotment visit. Bring a picnic lunch and something to sit on. Refreshments available after 4 miles. Toilets available at Twickenham Station, Kneller Park and the Hanworth Crematorium. FINISH: circa 15.00.
MEET: at the seating area outside Twickenham Station. To be notified of any last-minute changes to the walk, send the walk leader an email or text and he will let you know of any day before changes. Do check your email after 6pm on the night before the walk.
From Cranford H98, 81 and 222 buses to Hounslow Bus Station from where the H37 runs to Richmond, the 281 to Twickenham and Teddington. Hounslow West Station on the Piccadilly Line is on the bus route to Hounslow Bus Station.
