Overview

From the car park we take a gradual climb following a stream and small lake up to the Iron Age Fort at Twmbarlwm. This was used as part of the Cistercian Pilgrimage trail from Llanarnam to Penrhys.

We'll have morning break here, (419m, 1,375ft).

From there we walk along the ridge, then through woodland often following a stream back to the start.

There are toilets in the car park, and the visitor centre has a cafe for after the walk if anyone would like to visit.
