A circular walk across rolling countryside via Thorpe Satchville, Burrough Hill Iron Age Fort, a possible pub stop in Somerby and Burrough on the Hill. It is suggested that you bring your own picnic. Walking poles may also be desirable.

Meet at the layby on the B6047 just north of Twyford. There is room for approximately 10 cars so car sharing may be advised. The A6006 (after Oakham) was closed at the time of the recce so you may want to check this and travel via the A47.
