A leisurely circular walk westward from central Twyford through the lakes of the river Loddon Nature Reserve, eastward along the southern perimeter of the town and northward across fields to a picnic lunch in the picturesque town of Wargrave and southward to Twyford, exploring the origin of the name
Twyford Station Twyford via the Elizabeth Line is within the London Freedom Pass Zone. Take District Line via Turnham Green to the Elizabeth Line at Ealing Broadway, (Richmond 9.51, Turnham Green 10.03, Ealing Broadway 10.26, Twyford 11.03) Finish circa 16.30
