Overview

The walk starts at Coaley Wood Car Park on the B4066, Crawley Hill. This gives us access to the Cotswold Way and Uley Bury.  We circumnavigate Uley Bury, which on a clear day has superb views, before dropping down into Uley Village.  We leave the village, crossing fields towards Owlpen and then contour across the valley before climbing steeply through the woods to Nympsfield. Leaving Nympsfield we head towards Coaley Woods and back to our cars along the Cotswold Way.  There is 1000 feet of elevation over the whole route.  Poles can be helpful.
