Overview

This walk is packed with interesting features , not least the well but also St Dyfnogs Parish Church and its Jesse window ( dating from around 1533 )We will walk through ancient woods with small stone bridges and running water from streams from the well itself , which became known for its healing powers , and was frequented by the monk , St Dyfnog , in the 6th century

Whilst a shorter walk than you may be accustomed to , its a worthwhile moderate hike to 700ft , affording great views ( bring a camera if you wish , and a packed lunch ) and its an area not often walked in , there are many rickety stiles ( as well as a few hidden ones )

Layby off the A525 towards Denbigh Watch out for the signpost "Llanrhaeadr ( on the main road ) turn right when you see it .You should be able to see other ramblers parked there from the road
