Overview

A varied walk with good views over Pateley and Bouthwaite Reservoir, using a mixture of paths, tracks and minor roads. From Pateley Bridge we ascend Ripley Bank and Tenter Hill before contouring north west and then dropping down to Wath. We then cross the Nidd and walk to Heathfield and south via Moscarr Bottom before turning east on the Nidderdale Way back to PB. There are 3 separate uphill sections totalling approx 390m ascent. Boots and waterproofs required.

Start Place: Nidd Walk CP (Pay and Display £1.40 cash) Pateley Bridge. Turn onto Nidd Walk on the east side of the Bridge and drive to the end.
