10:00 start from the Forestry Commission free car park in Wakerley Great Wood (off the minor road from the A43), map/grid ref: 234/SP962986. We will walk down to Barrowden to call in to the village shop for our coffee stop, to buy refreshments and to use the toilet. Leaving Barrowden, we will climb through Wakerley village and back up to Wakerley Great Wood to enjoy the autumn colours and to stop for lunch near Laxton Hall.
