Overview

Walk around Clumber Park lake and through Hardwick Village.

Walk is mostly easy terrain, including good footpaths ,grassy tracks, woodland and roadside verges.

There are some slight undulations and no stiles.

There are toilets available during the route.

There is also a cafe and coffee kiosk on the route, however as the walk is on a Sunday these may well be busy so you are advised as usual to bring your own refreshments for a coffee and lunch stop.

It is likely to be muddy in places so boots are advised.

Dogs are allowed in the park but must be on a lead.

Take either the A1 or A614 heading north to the Apleyhead Interchange and enter Clumber Park through the large gateway head down the road towards Carburton. Continue straight down this road, past the signs for the Caravan Club turn off. The verge on either side of this road has wooden posts set into it, however soon after passing the Caravan Club turn off the posts stop and we will park up immediately on the left.
