Overview

A moderate circular walk of 11.5miles over the Blackdown Hills starting from Churchinford Village Hall (TA3 7QY). This walk passes along quiet country lanes, across meadowland and through woodland and secluded valleys.Iron working was important in Roman times and continued into the Middle Ages. We will also pass the Otterford lakes which are part of a nature reserve on the site of a former Victorian estate. Dog friendly for the most part although we do encounter one difficult stile towards the end.
