Overview

From Tegg's Nose, we make our way to Shutlinglsoe via forest tracks and lanes.  We'll ascend Shutlingsloe (506m).  After taking the steep descent  in to Wildboarclough, we'll  make our way to Oakenclough and the Hanging Gate,  From there we'll make our way through fields and ascend Tegg's Nose via the Gritstone Trail.  

The walk is moderately hard with 781 meters of ascent.

Dogs on short leads are welcome.

Tegg's Nose Country Park Car Park Parking is £3 for the day. Payment can be made by card, contactless or paybyphone. The cafe opens at 9am and there are toilets.
