Overview

This is a flat walk, through local farm lands taking in two of the local villages, and which can be muddy at times. The word "Carr" is an old English word used to describe fen woodland or scrub that was typically dominated by alder or willow and originates from the "Old Norse" word "kjarr" describing brush wood.
