We are the Howden and Goole Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a circular walk through varied landscapes, with some road walking along quiet lanes. The walk begins with a route to the village of Nunburnholme and then along the edge of the Wolds with expansive views over Vale of York. After passing along the ridge above Millington, the walk concludes along the old Roman road (originally from Brough to Malton) down into Warter.
There will be a drinks break and a picnic lunch stop. The walk leader is Sue T.
This walk is part of the Walking East Yorkshire Festival; Ramblers members do not need to book , just turn up.
Please park in the Warter village car park, adjacent to the school.
