We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk on October 4th will be at Dolau Cothi - either 2 or 3 miles. It's a 2 mile easy walk with no stiles or steep hills - through National Trust land and woodlands. The walk follows along the Rover Cothi for a stretch.
There's the option to do an additional mile on another loop around the old gold mines - there's a fairly steep climb, which could be slippery in wet weather and some steep steps on the way back but no stiles.
Dogs welcome on leads.
Meet Llandeilo station at 10.00am to car share or 10.30am at Dolau Cothi car park SA19 8US for the start of the walk. If going straight to the start of the walk, turn right off the A482 signposted Gold Mines and the car park is a short distance on the left after going over a cross roads:
