We are the Solihull Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Some road walking but mainly fields (with some pleasant views), and a short stretch of canal. We will have an early coffee stop at the community café in Hampton Magna (drinks and snacks served) (providing there are not too many for them to accommodate in which case there is a village shop, and a park to sit in). Picnic lunch stop, then return via Warwick Parkway Station and Saltisford Canal Centre.
If you would like to car share, we are meeting at Lady Byron Lane, Knowle (Old Warwick Road) Solihull B93 9AG (near J5 of the M42) for a departure time of 09:15 am. Lifts are subject to availability. This is a round trip of approx. 30 miles and a voluntary donation of £6 is considered to be a reasonable contribution towards the costs incurred by the driver.
Walks starts from Hampton Road Car Park, Warwick, CV34 6JP, entrance opposite Goldsmith Ave. £3 payable by card or Ringo.
