We are the West Somerset Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
SWCP, Myrtleberry Cleave, Ash Bridge. Icecream & coffee in Lymouth, lunch at Watersmeet. Steep ascent out of Lynmouth but we will have plenty of breaks to catch our breath and take in the views.
Some of the paths are stoney and be aware damp rocks are slippery. Boots are recommended. Bring plenty of water although there are opportunities to top up in Lynmouth & Watersmeet.
Barna Barrow CP. Watch for the radio mast on Foreland Point. On Wednesday 31 July work was in progress improving access to the CP. A plastic bariier was in place but the right hand side was open. If you reach Contisbury turn around!
