We are the North Dorset Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting in the picturesque village of Sydling St Nicholas, this walk differs considerably from a Sydling walk earlier this year. There are modest gradients with panoramic views from the mostly well drained paths. On returning we may visit St Nicolas Church, on which on of the gargoyles, near the south door, appeared in the 1970s film “Far from the Madding Crowd”.
