Overview

The walk begins in Sandford Orcas and heads towards Corton Denham along a vale of grassy fields, through Stafford Green farm and onto Corton Denham.  There is then a gentle ascent to Corton Hill and thereafter a walk towards the Beacon.  After passing Whitcombe farm, the Medieval Village of Whitcombe becomes evident after which Cadbury Castle comes prominently into view. On reaching South Cadbury, the walk does a circular track around Cadbury Castle and then returns to Sanford Orcas.
