This is a brisk walk but not fast, walking at an average of 3mph.

Let's try something different!

A linear walk along the ridge back to Lincoln via mainly the Viking way. This is an interesting varied walk with far reaching views over the valley. Starting at Wellingore and touching the edges of the cliff villages from Navenby through to Bracebridge Heath and then dropping down back into Lincoln.

Leave your car at Wellingore and catch a bus back - buses run every half an hour from Lincoln Central Bus Station to Wellingore and stop at the end of Hall Lane. Or we can arrange carshare.

Meet at Oakleigh Drive LN1 1DG by 8.30 to carshare. Or Hall Lane Wellingore for 9.30 start. 

We return to Oakleigh Drive LN1 1DG for those car sharing, calling in at the Lincoln City bus station dropping off those returning to Wellingore by bus.
