We are the Northants 20s-40s Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An ancient mound known as 'Cymbeline's Castle', the red brick walls of Chequers, a hilltop monument to the Boer War... there's plenty to see on this hike through the Chilterns. Enjoy a classic taste of the undulating Ridgeway path, with huge views, ancient beech woods and red kites wheeling overhead.
In the morning we'll head south west towards Princes Risborough, in the afternoon we'll return via Coombe Hill.
Please park at Wendover station car park, where there is a £5.50 charge to park all day at a weekend. Nearest postcode is HP22 6BT. Meet outside the station building, ready to start walking at 10.30am.
