We are the Lower Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We start the walk in the ancient Wentwood forest, climb Gray Hill for some excellent views, down through fields to Castrogi Brook and then along to Earlswood before climbing again to return to the car park.

Moderate
One short steep climb to Gray Hill which is a bit difficult underfoot. Then mostly through fields and good forest tracks. Some muddy parts and a few styles.
From the A48 turn right (coming from Chepstow towards Newport) just past Caerwent, to Llanvair Discoed. Then turn right in the village taking the Usk road until you reach Cadira Beeches car park on your right after about 3 miles.
