Tiger Bay Ramblers (TBR) is a walking group for people of working age. It is based in Cardiff but walks across South Wales and beyond.
A walk for birders and non birders welcome too. 10 mile mostly flat walk. Possible stile or three but mostly kissing gates. Some coastal and some inland footpaths. Two short stretches of road. Two or three bird hide stops for tea/binocular breaks (byo). Possibly an en route pub stop too depending on time available. Hoping to catch sight of Starling murmuration at dusk (4pm) near to end of walk.
Newport Wetlands car park charges £4, I think, unless RSPB members. Car sharing encouraged. Toilets and cafe available here also.
Possible apres drinks at Waterloo Inn, Nash depending on enthusiasm.
