Overview

Circular walk from Spring Wood car park, above Whalley, walking up by the golf club and over to Old Read Bridge. Onto Read Hall and down to Cock Bridge. Alongside the River Calder and up Whalley Banks to Whalley Nab. Down to cross the river alongside Whalley Viaduct and into Whalley through one of the 14th Century Abbey arches. Maybe time for refreshments in the village before setting off back up to Spring Wood.
