Overview

A mainly farmland walk in the south east of the Wakefield District.  There are also some wooded sections and some short stretches of road walking.  Good paths and tracks and just 2 stiles (3, if a gate is shut).  Starting from Frickley Country Park, once the spoil heaps of Frickley Colliery, we will have good views of the area (weather permitting) with minimal ascents/descents; passing through the picturesque villages of Hooton Pagnell and Clayton, which entails a short detour into the Doncaster  area.
