LVF Ramblers is a friendly, sociable group, specialising in short leisurely weekend walks of 3-4 miles in town & country, mainly accessible by public transport.
A 3 mile circular walk exploring the architecture of Ware and the surrounding Lea Navigation canal. Meet 10.30 at Ware Station. Greater Anglia from Liverpool Street, Tottenham Hale or Seven Sisters. Bring your Freedom Pass which will reduce the cost of your train ticket. Ware Station has an NCP car park with 90 spaces that costs £4.50 flat fee on Saturdays. We will take a stroll along the Lea Navigation, viewing some interesting garden rooms, into the town to see some historic buildings, and around a rural part of the Lea Valley Park, returning to Ware Station to end the walk
