Overview

A local walk this week which starts in Wick and takes us across fields to Abson, then down through Golden Valley nature reserve and a short walk back along the road to the cars.

It is a bit up and down at the beginning of this walk and quite muddy so walking boots are essential and walking poles recommended.

As this is our last walk before Christmas we will be having a break for Lesley’s home made Christmas Muffins and Chris and Sue's mulled wine at Abson Church which has a large porch where we can sit and rest. Or you can bring your own drink and snack.

Short drive to the Griffin pub, 107 London Rd, Warmley, Bristol BS30 5JN for a drink after the walk.
